A few years ago, before the social media sites, we had a study group going on on myjanee.com Alas the forum was removed for personal reasons and we moved on to Dorothy's site. It slowly lingered and eventually faded out. We started with Eismann's book on Restorations and then moved on to Masking and Compositing not really completing the book. Most of us now have flickr accounts and we all still meet on Facebook and google +. Under the leadership of Joanne who bought the latest book we decided to renew our study group and our Photoshop skills as well. I admit that I have left photography to the side for these past years, and compositing almost to a standstill. I do fiddle around with textures like the above image taken on a cloudy November day at the dead sea, a favorite spot, with an added texture.
By the way the two black dots are my husband and daughter.
First I want to improve my Photoshop skills and in some way connect photography compositing , not just reference photos, to my paintings... Glad that we are all together here... Bravo INTERNET!!!
Now we have our flickr group, facebook, and web sites to share and comment...and don't forget google +, which I am beginning to love.... some great photography going on there!!! Visit my flickr photostream

Decided to make it double so worked on selecting the flowers though masking and blending modes. Chapter 8 pages 249-259 with some changes here and there... love textures so added a Kim Klassen Boy am I rusty!!!Enjoyed the process!!!!
